● Adoption Process
We’re excited that you’re interested in adopting from us! Our process is designed to make sure each cat is matched with a safe, loving and appropriate home. Here’s how it works:
1. Submit an Adoption Application
Start by filling out our online adoption application. This helps us learn about your home, your experience with pets, and what you’re looking for in a cat so we can ensure a good fit.
2. Virtual Home Check
After reviewing your application, we’ll reach out to schedule a quick virtual home check. This is a casual video call—no need to prepare or feel nervous. You give us a mini introduction and tour of your space and we answer any questions you may have.
3. Meet + Greet
Once approved, you’ll be prompted to schedule your Meet + Greet via Calendly with the cat(s) you’re interested in. This may take place at one of our foster homes or at one of our pet store locations, depending on where the cat is currently located.
This is your chance to get to know the cat’s personality and make sure they’re a great match for you.
4. Adoption Day
If the Meet + Greet goes well, you’re welcome to adopt the same day—as long as you bring a secure cat carrier. If you prefer to think things over or prepare your home, you can schedule another day for adoption instead.
We’re flexible and want the process to feel comfortable for you and safe for the cat.
5. Welcome Home!
After completing the adoption contract and fee, your new family member is ready to go home. We’re always here for questions or support, even long after adoption.

-

Spay/neuter
Age-appropriate vaccinations
Microchip
FIV/FeLV testing (if age-appropriate)

Any medical care they received while with us
-
It’s a short video call via Google Meet where you show us the main areas your cat will have access to.
This is not a judgmental inspection — it’s simply to ensure safety and answer any questions you have. -
Because most of our cats are in foster homes, we require an application first. After approval, you’ll schedule a Meet + Greet.
However, if the cat(s) you’re interested in are placed at one of pet store locations, you may stop by and visit them before applying!
-
You’re welcome to apply anyway. If the adoption falls through, we’ll contact you. Otherwise, we can recommend similar cats who match what you're looking for.
-
Adjustment periods vary as follow the 3-3-3 rule. We provide guidance on introductions, behavior, and settling-in tips.
If after working with us the match still isn’t right, our agreement requires the cat be returned to us. -
We primarily adopt within our local and surrounding areas. Out-of-state adoptions may be possible if transportation is arranged and the virtual check passes.
